Contemporary Indigenous Challenges and Clashing with Churches

Dr. Lisa Ann Dellinger (she, her, hers) currently teaches as the Tinker Visiting Professor at Iliff School of Theology, Denver, CO. She is also the Visiting Assistant Professor of Constructive Theologies as Louisville Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at Phillips Theological Seminary, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her Ph.D. in the Theology, Ethics, and History program from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2020. Dr. Dellinger’s work utilizes Christian theology, Native American studies, postcolonial theory, and Indigenous feminist/Womanist theory. She is a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation and Mexican American. She previously served as a local pastor in the Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference of the United Methodist Church.
