Falafel Dinner

  • Claremont Presbyterian Church 1111 North Mountain Avenue Claremont, CA, 91711 (map)

The CPC Refugee and Immigration Concerns Team invite you to a Falafel sandwich dinner. Falafel is a traditional Middle Eastern food, a homemade, vegetarian fritter topped with refreshing herbs, wrapped in pita bread. The food is prepared by the Kanjos, a refugee family from Syria. Donations will go to the hands that made the meal and to refugee families in Lebanon through SLPN, the Syria Lebanon Partnership Network Presbyterian Church (USA). Consider purchasing this as a light dinner for your friends, as well as your family!

Date: Saturday, June 5 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.

Cost: Suggested donation is $10 per sandwich. $2 for homemade baklava dessert.

E-mail or text Judy Kohnen - judy.kohnen@gmail.com 909-525-5559 with your order. Please include the number of sandwiches and baklava you would like and if you will pick it up or would like it delivered.

You are welcome to enjoy you pick-up orders on the lawn with you family. Please maintain social distancing.
